"Found at the Well"
Auditions: Monday, June 6th @ 6:30 PM
No prior preparation is required, but a short (45 second) reading/recitation is encouraged.
Come join The King’s Theatre for unique, original play!
Told in 4 acts, this play presents the Biblical stories of Rebekah, Rachel, Zipporah, and the Samaritan woman in John 4, and how their lives were changed by an ordinary trip to the well. All found love in a place they least expected it: three found earthly love, one found Love incarnate in Jesus Christ. With memorable characters and a unique story line, this play will be one you won’t want to miss!
‘Found at the Well’ is written and directed by Anna Lofgren.
Where: Fountain of Grace Church
Anyone ages 8 & up is invited to audition. Most parts, however, are for those ages 12 & up, so prepare yourself for that. Only those cast as a character are guaranteed a part, though there may be a few extras invited to fill out group scenes. We will probably need some adults (men especially!) in addition to children and teens.
There are approximately 30 characters (14 male, 16 female), with fun personalities, from Zipporah and her 6 sisters to the “dashing hero” Jacob or clumsy, tongue-tied Moses.
