Esther-Ordinary Faith

"Esther-Ordinary Faith"

Auditions: Tuesday, June 7th @ 6:30 PM

No prior preparation is required, but a short (45 second) reading/recitation is encouraged. If interested in a solo, please prepare a short song.

Come join The King’s Theatre for another musical!

Written by Kathie Hill, this timeless musical tells the story of Esther in a fun and applicable way. Children and teens will enjoy the singing (10 songs!), dancing, and acting, as Zerox the scribe tells the story, interacting with Esther’s friends, the “Susans,” and showing the downfall of the despised Haman. With plenty of humor, upbeat yet meaningful songs, and a message that resonates today, the whole family will enjoy this musical!

‘Esther-Ordinary Faith’ is about 50 minutes in length, and will be directed by Anna Lofgren.

Where: Fountain of Grace Church

This musical can accommodate a large cast. There are 9 speaking characters (4 female, 5 male), but the extras are in almost every scene, singing, dancing, and reacting to what’s happening in the story. Everyone who auditions should get a part, at least in the group.

Anyone ages 6 & up is invited to participate; however children under age 10 must have a parent or responsible sibling stay at (or be in) all rehearsals.
