About The King's Courts
The King's Courts is a Christian non-denominational ministry devoted to training worshipers, equipping servants, and glorifying God through the arts. God led Anna to the name and plan as a possible ministry for an assignment in Theatre Ministry Administration class at Belhaven College in spring of 2009. Through much prayer and planning, The King's Courts is being birthed in this summer of 2009.

Anna Lofgren is 19 years old and the sixth of seven children. She was home educated through high school graduation, and then spent a year at Belhaven College in Jackson, MS. Recently, God has led her to come back home to learn and grow, as she continues her education through independent study, lessons, and workshops, while also gaining practical experience in teaching and directing. She enjoys home life, especially cooking, sewing, and organizing, and has always loved working with children and families!
Anna has always enjoyed the arts, being blessed to learn a mixture of music (some violin, piano, and flute), worship dance, ballet, drama, baton, and art through the years, beginning when she was 6 years old. She began ballet lessons at age 11 after being a part of different worship dance groups, and took from local teachers. She was blessed to attend Ballet Magnficat's Summer Dance Intensive in 2006 and 2007, and learned a lot through attending their Teacher's Workshop in 2009. She also took ballet and modern technique during her year at Belhaven College, where she also received theatre training while majoring in Theatre Ministry.
In the summer of 2005, she directed "Esther-Ordinary Faith," written by Kathie Hill, which involved choreographing and teaching simple dances. In September 2006, she started The King's Praise Ballet, teaching dance classes of her own for two years. In the summer of 2007, she produced "Ruth: From Rejection to Redemption," writing the script, directing and choreographing and teaching the dances. In December 2007, she produced "Mary: Chosen by God," writing the script and directing, while also choreographing and teaching the dances to students of The King's Praise Ballet, incorporating her classes of dancers into the musical. In the summer of 2008, she choreographed and directed "Fat Fat Jehoshaphat," written by Kathie Hill. Currently, she is direting "The Amazing Jerusalem Makeover" created by Herb Owen, Ed Kee, and John Lemonis.

The King's Praise Ballet has begun again this summer, as a branch of The King's Courts. The King's Theatre is also beginning this summer as the dramatic branch. The King's Intercessors is soon to be started as a prayer support group, and Courtly Apparel is developing as the sewing component of the ministry.
