About
The King's Courts is a Christian non-denominational ministry devoted to training worshipers, equipping servants, and glorifying God through the arts. God led Anna to the name and plan as a possible ministry for an assignment in Theatre Ministry Administration class at Belhaven College in spring of 2009. Through much prayer and planning, The King's Courts was birthed in the summer of 2009.

Anna Lofgren is 20 years old and the sixth of seven children. She was home educated through high school graduation and then spent a year at Belhaven College in Jackson, MS. Then, feeling God's prompting, she returned home to Alabama to learn and grow as she continues her education through independent study and periodic workshops, while also gaining practical experience in teaching and directing. She enjoys home life, especially cooking, sewing, and organizing, and has always loved working with children and families!

Anna has always enjoyed the arts, and since age 6 has learned a mixture of music (some violin, piano, and flute), worship dance, ballet, drama, baton, and art at different times through the years. She began ballet lessons at age 11 after being a part of different worship dance groups, and took from local teachers. She was blessed to attend Ballet Magnficat's Summer Dance Intensive in 2006 and 2007, and learned a lot through attending their Teacher's Workshop in 2009. She also took ballet and modern technique during her year at Belhaven College, where she also received theatre training while majoring in Theatre Ministry.

Anna started The King's Praise Ballet in September 2006, and taught until the summer of 2008, after which she left for college. She began it anew in the summer of 2009, and by May 2010 had 40 students enrolled.

Anna directed her first musical, "Esther-Ordinary Faith" (by Kathie Hill) in the summer of 2005, when she was 15 years old. In 2007 she wrote the scripts, found songs to fit, and directed musicals about the Biblical characters of Ruth and Mary. She directed "Fat Fat Jehoshaphat" (by Kathie Hill) in July 2008. The King's Theatre began in the summer of 2009 as the official theatre branch of The King's Courts, and has presented 2 musicals so far: "The Amazing Jerusalem Makeover" (by Herb Owen, John Lemonis, & Ed Kee) and "Beyond Bethlehem" (script written by Anna with songs found to fit). "The Cord of Courage," an original musical by Anna Lofgren with music composed by Caleb Hart, is currently underway.
